Table overview: Table A09 presents the estimated number and weighted prevalence of internetusing children aged 12–17 in each region who reported being subjected to at least one form of
technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and abuse in the one year preceding the survey.
Regional estimates are drawn from different waves of the Disrupting Harm research project and
therefore reflect data collected between 2021–2022 and 2024–2025. The table also presents the
sum of the regional-level population estimates and the average prevalence across the 20 countries
included in this regional analysis. Pakistan (South Asia) was not included in this analysis because a
regional estimate cannot be produced based on data from one country.
Table A09: Estimated number and weighted prevalence of internet-using children aged 12–17 who
were subjected to at least one form of technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and abuse in
the year prior to being surveyed, by region (2020–2025).
