You have the right to protest in Myanmar This includes: • Right to liberty and justice (Constitution, Art. 6(e)). • Right to freedom of expression (Constitution, Art. 354(a)). • Right to assemble and to hold a procession (Constitution, Art. 354(b); Peaceful Assembly and Peaceful Procession Law, Art 3(a)). • Right to develop your arts and culture (Constitution, Art. 365). • Right to movement (Penal Code, Art. 339). • Right to legal protection for your protesting (Peaceful Assembly and Peaceful Procession Law, Art 3(a)).
