That the video was filmed secretly raised the
possibility that it is the result of government
surveillance, and whether it was surfaced
to divert attention from PAP’s scandals.

Government surveillance is a well-known
practice against Singapore’s activist
community. Sharing her experiences of
being under surveillance, long-time activist
Kirsten Han said she and other fellow
activists had been filmed by unidentified
men on many occasions. However, she could
not prove the affiliation of these men who
filmed her317.
