Blue Shirt Initiative 21 2.1 Struggle for Basic Needs and Satisfaction of Different Aspects of Life Most respondents report feeling stressed when asked about their daily struggles and hold negative views about various aspects of their lives. More than six in ten say they are very worried about their future, while three in ten indicate they have gone without income for the past six months. About a quarter say they have had to sell or pawn belongings and have experienced clashes within the family. While more than half indicate dissatisfaction with family life, educational opportunities, their communities, personal health, personal time, and standard of living, about a quarter of respondents expressed satisfaction with their current situation.
