The Chairman of the military in Naypyidaw, for territorial control operations, along with the Northern Command (NC) Commander, Major General Aung Zaw Htay, Kamaing tactical units, and Battalion 120, have been stationed along the Kamaing–Hpakant road. They had taken positions in and around villages such as Nanyaar, Kap Maw Zup, and Saing Hpra, as well as at the entrances and exits of villages, including Pyae Ohn and Nan Tin. Because of their deployment, incidents have occurred where local residents’ belongings were taken, homes were entered and searched, and property was stolen.
