Trade agreements and other international agreements
A successful e-commerce strategy seeks to address all concerns in the e-commerce chain: establishment of business, setting e-payment systems, product delivery
(be it domestic or cross-border), and aftersales services. Trade agreements can play an important role in harnessing the potential of e-commerce. They are one of
the instruments available to Governments to pursue new market access opportunities and welcome the goods and services of new businesses to the country.
Finally, trade agreements can include measures to promote cooperation among the Parties.
