electricity for 24 hours in the day prior to
the survey being administered (Figure 15).
The government-owned power supply
was the predominant source of lighting
in urban and rural areas. It accounted for
lighting in 89% of households in urban areas. The primary source of lighting in rural
areas was more varied, with solar power
being the main source of lighting. Only a
quarter of households in rural areas relied
on the government owned power supply
as their primary source of lighting
(Table 5).
