Presently, in Myanmar, total number of the fixed telephone subscribers is 600,000, and total number of mobile phone subscribers are 5,500,000 approximately. (at the time of Year 2012), however, in order to accomplish the target for popularity of telephone through increasing the mobile phones only, the popularity of the mobile phone should increase from less 10% to be increased a little less than 80%. On the other hand, Table 5.2-10 gives changes of the rate of mobile phone users, however, most of countries needed approximately 7 years or so.
