On January 23, 2024, a Shaanxi
Y-8 military transport aircraft
crash-landed at Lengpui
Airport in Mizoram, India, while
evacuating soldiers; the aircraft
veered off the runway, injuring
eight of the 14 people onboard.264

with tail number 5922 in its
coverage of the Myanmar
Air Force’s 77th-anniversary
ceremony on December 15,
