Karenni State. Junta
troops also set fire to

Kachin Independence
Army (KIA) forces launched
coordinated attacks against
junta military outposts along
the Myitkyina-Bhamo Road.
By the end of the day, the
KIA had seized ten junta
outposts.
On the morning of March 7, Laiza, Kachin State, was bombarded with
both airstrikes and shelling. Residents shared video recordings of the
aftermath of the attacks, showing smoke rising from sites in Myanmar
and inside Chinese territory.

in Mabein Township, reportedly killing six
civilians. Mabein town has been under
the control of the Kachin Independence
Army and its allied forces since
February 19, 2024.
Junta air force jets attacked Ja
Mai village in Kachin State’s
Momauk Township, targeting a
rest stop for truck drivers. The
attack killed five civilians and
injured two others.
