The eight townships that have been cut off the internet are Yinmarbin, Pale, Kani, Budalin, Ayadaw, Pinlebu, Wuntho and Kawlin. Resulting in approximately 1 million people having their to internet access violated and approximately 3 million people having internet access reduced in 2022 8
