Methodology Online incitements to violence are widespread across various Telegram channels. DVB Fact Check selected channels based on factors such as follower count, frequency of incitements, regular calls for civilian detentions, and a higher volume of violent rhetoric than other channels. Consequently, channels like Hmine Wai, Kyaw Swar, and Ko Thet, each with over 100,000 followers, were monitored closely, along with Han Nyein Oo and Naypyidaw, known for frequent incitements and civilian targeting.
