Conclusion Based on data collected by DVB Fact Check, five pro-military Telegram channels— Hmine Wai, Ko Thet, Kyaw Swar, Han Nyein Oo, and Naypyidaw—were closely monitored over the six-month period from January to June 2024. These channels posted a total of 234 incitements to violence. DVB Fact Check identified four case studies demonstrating the real-world consequences of these incitements. Each incident was verified through reports from independent and reliable news agencies, local resident testimonies, and geolocation analysis to ensure precise evidence. - 22 -
