Monthly Trend of Peaceful Protests by Anti-coup Protesters in 2024 The silent strikes marking the third anniversary of the military coup in Myanmar became a significant and powerful public movement, involving people across 66 cities in the country. On the day of the strike, the military also organized pro-military rallies, forced shops to open, and arranged crowded activities. They employed various methods to intimidate and prevent participation in the silent strike.
