In response to peaceful protests, the military fired real bullets at protesters and rammed vehicles into them in its most inhumane and destructive response to peaceful protesters expressing their opinions, thoughts, and demands. In the aftermath of the coup, the junta troops rammed military vehicles and private cars into peaceful protests 19 times, eight of which occurred in Mandalay Region, five in Yangon Region, three in Sagaing Region, one in Shan State, one in Kachin State, and one in Tanintharyi Region.
