The key discrepancy is not the demolition activity itself, but rather that the public
representation of what buildings were demolished does not always align with the
available imagery or geolocated evidence. This includes:
● Buildings shown as demolished in one place, but geolocated elsewhere
● Roofs removed before demolition
● Roof colour, or material, appearing different in state imagery than in satellite
imagery
● Reported buildings did not consistently match geolocated imagery
● A number of buildings appeared to show possible additions to their upper
floors prior to demolition
● Several published images appear to have been AI-edited
