5 Digital skills Digital skills were low in Myanmar in 2016. Many managed with someone else’s help, especially installing applications, creating log-in details and a password, and locating and adjusting settings on an application or service (Figure 64). Digital literacy was lower among females, and they needed more help to manage tasks (Figure 65). Digital literacy was also lower among the rural population than the urban.
