The military council conducted a substantial number of airstrikes across various
regions, with Rakhine reporting the highest at 221 incidents. Shan (North)
followed closely with 134 airstrikes, while Mandalay recorded 110. Other
regions included Sagaing with 106, Chin with 79, Kachin with 69, Magway with
50, Karen with 33 and Shan (South) with 29. Additionally, Karenni reported 16
incidents, Tanintharyi 11 incidents, Bago five incidents, and Mon recorded two
incidents. From September 2024 to December 2024, a series of airstrikes
executed by the military council led to the tragic demise of 475 civilians.
Moreover, the incidents left 1013 individuals wounded, while 54 religious
buildings, 32 schools, and seven health infrastructures were destroyed. There
were also a lot of damage to houses, vehicles, livestock and farms.
