Some confess in the hope of speeding up their case so that they are freed from prison more quickly. Others try to get their charges changed to reduce the length of imprisonment. Based on this, your lawyer will decide the weaknesses in your case and the weaknesses in the prosecution’s case. They will do this by looking at the evidence that supports you and the evidence that supports the prosecution.
