These were also observed in northern Shan State, particularly in Mongmit Township. • Protests related to governance and rule of law were raised in Sagaing Region, with towns like Pale Township, Salingyi Township, Taze Township, Tigyaint Township, and Kalay Township witnessing such calls for change. Protests over civilian-military relations and territorial control occurred in Sagaing Region, particularly in Pale Township, Yinmabin Township, Homalin Township, Shwebo Township, and in towns like Gangaw in Magway and Matupi and Kanpetlet Townships in Chin State. Additionally, there were protests on environmental preservation and anti-narcotics efforts in several regions, reflecting the people’s concerns for both their local environment and the broader impact of drug trafficking: • Environmental protection and anti-drug protests took place in Kachin State, particularly in Myitkyina Township and Laiza, as well as in Hpapun Township of Kayin State, and Kyaukme Township of Shan State (North).
