In some instances, the discrepancy appears to be connected to the upper floors of the buildings, and in others the height simply does not match. 4.3.1 FLOOR HEIGHT MANIPULATION On 8 July 2026, a villa [16.814752, 98.546393] was shown in demolition footage as having six visible storeys; however, earlier imagery from 25 May 2026 shows the building had four levels (figure 10). On 10 July 2026, another nearby blue-roofed villa also appears to be presented as taller than in earlier imagery, with six storeys. State media reported the villa to be an eight-storey building. In both cases, low-resolution Sentinel-2 imagery from 14 June 2026 still shows red roofs, indicating that the buildings’ appearance also changed before demolition.
